With the internet taking a huge role in the sports betting industry, Sports bettors have alot of information at their disposal. I want to talk about consensus betting sites and why these sites actually provide little to zero insight as to who the public is betting on.
Betting against the Public won’t work for most people!
When people seek out to see who the public has bet on they turn to consensus sites. The problem with this is that people are just giving their opinion on the game regardless if they are too put money on it or not. They are betting “air” as we like to say in the sports betting world. So when they make their bet choices when looking at these consensus sites and bet with or against the public they might not actually be betting against or with where the actual BET MONEY IS.

“”Public bet”" simply means the team which has more money bet on it by the public in any given game.
